It really needs a paid team working full time, with dedicated professional artists as beta testers. ![]() Most Zbrush artists working in collectibles/film/game are going to be needing these sorts of polycounts, and even higher, and that’s not including the HDGeo workflows that are going to the half a billion range. Jumping to edit mode would make sculpt mode far more useful, but it isn’t possible.įor my own work in Zbrush, my jobs are 50-100 million verts, so even if I wanted to go to Blender for this work, I couldn’t. ![]() Has that been fixed? Then there’s the terrible performance of edit mode, still as bad in 3.0. Then there’s all that stuff with the multires. I know this won’t be popular, but Blender sculpting is still a long way off Zbrush. Casuals, maybe, but entrenched users and large houses, no. ![]()
